Why do you like this sport?
How long take you to learn this?
Who inspired you?
Why this sport?
How long do you practice for?
What days do you practice?
Where do you practice?

Scene description

Hello and welcome back to the blog. It has been a while since I have blogged last and that is because it was the SCHOOL HOLIDAYS! Any way lets get to my blog. Today I am going to be sharing with you my writing, which is a scene description. I am sharing this with you because I think I did a really good job on it like most of my work. I enjoyed this writing because I don't think I have done it before. Lets get onto my work.

For the scene description we had to pick a scene and describe it.
This is my scene that I picked about:

We all helped come up the success criteria
Here it is:
  • Has strong adjectives
  • Different sentence beginnings
  • Different sentence lengths
  • A simile and/or alliteration
  • Has an introduction, body and conclusion
  • Thoughtful word choices
  • My goal: Show examples of single, compound and complex sentences.

My terrific writing:
As I look out around I see the most amazing view. It is a lake, a beautiful and peaceful lake.  Just before you reach the peaceful lake there is a long line of beautiful trees stretching all the way around keeping the evergreen pattern. These are no ordinary trees that drop their leaves; they are evergreen. The native meadow I lay on is buzzing with a fresh spring feeling.  All the insects around me buzz in harmony just like a  choir.  The calm lake has a light reflection of the snowy mountains in the distance. My feet feel so smooth in the cold refreshing water.  I feel so relaxed and that know this is the place for me.

I hope you enjoyed my writing and I will see you in my next post.
