Passion Project Plan

Kiaora and welcome back to my blog, where today I'm going to share with you my passion project plan.  For your passion project, you are allowed to learn and share your learning about any topic you like. I am sharing this because it is something big coming up over this term.

Here it is:

What do you want to do? Be as specific as you can.
Make or find a awesome recipe and bake it!

Why is this a good topic for me?
I don’t know that much about baking and I would like to learn more.

What will it look like when it is finished/how will it be presented?
It will be a cook book with my recipes and instructions, there will be some tips also!

I hope you enjoyed my post, bye.

Hola and welcome to my blog where today I will be sharing with you my estimating maths task.  I'm sharing this with you because one, I haven't shared math in a long time and two, I really enjoyed doing it.

Here is a photo of my work:

I enjoy estimating

Thanks for reading, See you in the next post.

Hello and welcome back to My blog! Today I thought that I would share with you my reading task for the book I read Grandparents Day.  I enjoyed doing this because it involved a lot of thinking.  My favourite part was comparing the things from old NZ schools and schools today in NZ; you can see it in my work.

Here it is:

Grandparents Day
Task 1
How do you think Granny and Pop are feeling when they are at the school? Explain your reasoning.
I think that they were feeling excited and relieved.  They would be excited to be there and spend a day with Isia. Relieved that they made it

Task 2
On page 41, Pop starts daydreaming about when he went to school. Do some research about school in New Zealand in the old days and compare it to school in 2016. Include at least 3 comparisons.

Everyone had a desk
Whacking with rulers if naughty
Tell of if naughty

Task 3
Find 3 new vocabulary words. Write them and their definition below.
Couldn’t really find new words!

Shudder is something people do when they are scared/frightened
Two differences boy-girl
When someone puts something back or comes back

Thanks for reading!
